Mabry added to Bengals' practice squad

The Bengals made two moves Tuesday with their practice squad.
The club signed center Mike Mabry, a first-year NFL player from Central Florida. He was with the Bengals during training camp and waived on Aug. 23.
The club released rookie linebacker Allen Augustin of Florida to make room for Mabry.
The Bengals might be in need of help at center. Starter Rich Braham had to be removed from the game Sunday at the Jets, 11 days after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
Backup center Larry Moore might need to have the same type of surgery after injuring his knee during the game. He kept playing on the hurt knee. If Moore is out for an extended period of time, Mabry could be signed to the 53-man roster.
Mabry was Baltimore's seventh-round draft pick in 2003 and waived Aug. 26. The Bengals signed him to their offseason roster Dec. 29.
Bengals among NFL's youngest
The Bengals are one of the NFL's youngest teams with one of the greatest number of rookies and first-year players, according to a league analysis of kickoff weekend rosters. The Bengals are third-youngest with an average age of 25.70 years. Only Chicago (25.26 years) and Indianapolis (25.64) are younger.
Cincinnati has 13 rookies and first-year players, tied for second-most with Kansas City, San Diego and Dallas. San Francisco's 14 are most.
