Warrick returns and contributes
Bengals notebook

Bengals offensive starters Peter Warrick, Reggie Kelly and Jeremi Johnson made their first preseason appearances Friday night for the Bengals against the Colts.
Warrick had five receptions for 32 yards. He had returned to practice Monday after missing much of training camp with a knee injury dating back to December.
The Bengals won 16-13.
"I'm cool. I feel real good," Warrick said. "It's great just to be out there contributing. That's really all I had in mind - to contribute something to the offense. It seems like it's been a long time since I played."
Said coach Marvin Lewis: "He did a nice job today. He said the more he played, the better it felt."
Kelly had not played because of a right thumb injury. He had one reception in the first half for 5 yards.
Johnson had one catch for 7 yards and blocked well in the running game.
Rookie linebacker Landon Johnson also made his first appearance of the preseason after missing much of camp with a shoulder injury. He had seven tackles and recorded one sack of Colts backup Corey Sauter.
PERRY HURT: Rookie running back Chris Perry, who rushed 17 times for 65 yards, suffered a hamstring injury in the second half and did not return.
Lewis said Perry probably would be listed as questionable to play in the season opener Sept. 12 against the Jets.
BACK IN BLACK: The Bengals wore all-black uniforms against the Colts. They also wore another new uniform feature, orange socks.
The Bengals wore black pants twice last season and were 0-2, losing the opener to Denver and the regular-season finale to Cleveland.
NEW GUYS: Two linebackers claimed off waivers Wednesday by the Bengals made their debuts Friday night.
Allen Augustin wore No. 57 and had one interception on a tipped ball. Marcus Wilkins wore No. 55 and had two tackles.
BIG FOOT: Rookie Kyle Larson helped himself against the Colts, punting four times for a 43.3-yard average. "He did a fine job," Lewis said of Larson.
WHAT A RUSH: The Bengals held the Colts to 8 rushing yards. The Bengals had 135 rushing yards on offense. Colts star running back Edgerrin James did not play.
