The Bengals added a third punter Monday when they claimed Eddie Johnson off the waiver wire from Minnesota.
The Vikings drafted Johnson in the sixth round in 2003 from Idaho State. He handled 56 of Minnesota's 63 punts last season and averaged 39.1 yards. His net average was 32.6 yards.
The Bengals have two other punters on their roster, veteran Kyle Richardson and rookie free agent Kyle Larson from Nebraska.
