Bengals raise ticket prices

General admission seats increased $1-$6 for 2004 home games

By Mark Curnutte
The Cincinnati Enquirer

For the first time since 2002, the Bengals have raised general admission ticket prices for the upcoming season.

Increases will range from $1-$6, depending on location in Paul Brown Stadium.

The 2004 prices will create an average Bengals ticket price of $53.73, which - minus club seat premiums - still ranks below the NFL average in 2003, the Bengals said. The club's ticket prices in 2003 ranked 25th in the league.

In 2004, prices in seven seating zones will range from $40-$60.

Though times and dates have not been announced by the NFL, the Bengals' home schedule will feature three playoff teams and the Miami Dolphins, who missed the postseason despite a 10-6 record.

Playoff teams Baltimore, Dallas and Denver will play at Paul Brown Stadium. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo and the New York Giants round out the home schedule.

One of the Bengals' two home preseason opponents will be against the Indianapolis Colts.

Season tickets are available; call 621-8383.

For season-ticket holders who purchased tickets for possible 2003 postseason games, a refund of any postseason payments will be reflected on their first invoice.
