Bengals sign linebacker Chamberlin
The Bengals made two roster moves Tuesday.
They signed free agent linebacker Frank Chamberlin to a two-year contract and waived linebacker LaDairis Jackson. He had been acquired by Cincinnati off waivers from Washington on Oct. 22 and did not see action for the Bengals.
Chamberlin, a fourth-year pro, played in 43 games for Tennessee from 2000-02.
PLAYOFF TICKETS: The Bengals have started to make playoff tickets available to the team's season-ticket and game-package holders.
The NFL sets prices. Playoff tickets are offered in two-game packages and cost between $150 and $430. They are not yet available to the general public.
Buyers have a Dec. 5 deadline to return a full-paid invoice that had been mailed to them.
WEATHERSBY CASE: A reputed gang member was convicted of attempted murder Tuesday in the drive-by shooting that wounded cornerback Dennis Weathersby.
Juan Serna, 26, was found guilty by a Pasadena, Calif., jury of trying to kill Weathersby and a second man. Serna faces multiple life terms at his sentencing.
Serna mistook the two victims for gang members, said Deputy District Attorney Steve Lopez.
