The Cincinnati Enquirer
The NFL on Tuesday named Peter Warrick as AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Warrick had a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown Sunday in the Bengals' 24-19 victory against the Chiefs.
His touchdown gave the Bengals a 17-6 lead in the fourth quarter.
The fourth-year wide receiver had four punt returns for 87 yards. It was his second career punt return for a touchdown.
Warrick is the second player of the week for the Bengals this season. Linebacker Brian Simmons was AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance Oct. 26 against Seattle.
FOR THE TURNSTILES: Turnstile attendance Sunday at the Bengals-Chiefs game was 63,111, the largest crowd for a sporting event in Cincinnati, the Bengals said.
The Bengals have the three largest turnstile crowds in the city's sports history, and the 2002 football game between UC and Ohio State is fourth at 60,875.
Turnstile attendance is the actual number of people who entered the stadium gates.
Official NFL attendance figures count tickets distributed.
Sunday's Bengals-Chiefs games had 64,923. The UC-Ohio State game Sept. 21, 2002, had 66,319 tickets distributed - the largest number for a sporting event in Cincinnati.
