Corey Dillon seemed happy just to be on the field Sunday, and he later apologized to fans.
"I know I said some things people probably did not appreciate, and that's just me sometimes," Dillon said. ". . . I know the fans have supported me through a whole lot of stuff. One of the biggest things for me was coming back and trying to get accepted by them.
"I expected the worst - I thought some beer bottles might be coming (my way). But I showed them that I care about them and I love them. What was said is what I said, and I apologize for it."
