Marvin Lewis' favorites list

Favorite actor: Chris Tucker. "The first thing I said when I met him was, 'You make me laugh.' I love his movies. My family got to take pictures of him."

You'd like to do lunch with? Colin Powell. "I read his book. You learn from him because he has been a great leader. And going through the struggles of being a minority has sometimes been good and bad for him. Was he or wasn't he (a minority)?"

You'd like to meet? "Tubby Smith, now that I'm here. I met Bob Huggins a little bit. You appreciate the coaches, when you watch coaches. Rick Pitino, Pat Riley. It's fun to watch them coach. Every time I see (UC coach) Rick Minter, I enjoy talking to him about football."

Coaching highlight? Super Bowl XXXV, when, as defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, his defense did not allow a touchdown in a 34-7 victory over the New York Giants. "On Sunday before the game, I told my wife (Peggy) that I wanted to get (son) Marcus out of the stands. She said, ŒWhat do you mean?' I said, ŒAfter we win, I'll get Marcus out the stands.' She said, ŒYou never said that before.' "

Favorite book? "I love all the John Wooden stuff, but I love Pat Riley's The Winner Within. I have used different excerpts from, different chapters, from The Disease of Me."

Last autograph you got? "Tony Siragusa, on that Sports Illustrated cover with Michael Strahan from the week before the Super Bowl in 2001."

In your CD player? The Isley Brothers.

Dinner out? "Probably Mexican food. We haven't been able to do as much because (son) Marcus is allergic to corn products."

Favorite TV show? "The 10 o'clock dramas, whether it would be ER, The Practice or Law & Order. I get captivated by the police stuff."

First Œwow' experience? "When I was a kid and met Terry Bradshaw in a grocery store. He was big."

Favorite movie? "The first Bad Boys movie, I think, is always worth watching. I guess I don't hang onto things enough."

Kevin Bacon? Lewis has seen five of Bacon's movies: Wild Things, Trapped, The River Wild, Footloose and National Lampoon's Animal House. "I think he's funny. Even in that movie Trapped, it was somewhat funny ‹ I don't think it was supposed to be funny."
