Today's schedule
8:45-11 a.m. practice
Directions
From Downtown: Take I-75 South about 70 miles to Exit 126 (Georgetown, Ky.). Turn right off ramp onto U.S. 460 West. Stay on 460 for about 2 miles. Turn right at light onto Lemons Mill Road (1962 West). Turn right into driveway flanked with Georgetown College/Bengals signs.
Coming up
The team is scheduled to practice from 8:45-11 a.m. before breaking camp.
Injury report
Wide receiver Kelley Washington jammed his right pinky finger during the morning session but practiced in the afternoon.
Running back Corey Dillon did not participate in the morning practice after getting kicked in the calf Tuesday. He did participate in the afternoon practice.
Tailback Brandon Bennett (ankle) missed both practices.
Linebacker Armegis Spearman (hamstring) did not participate in afternoon practice.
Palmer watch
Head coach Marvin Lewis said rookie quarterback Carson Palmer is likely to play after starter Jon Kitna and before Shane Matthews against the Titans on Saturday.
Palmer completed all seven of his passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions last week. In two preseason games, Palmer has completed 19 of 29 passes for 237 yards, three TDs and two interceptions.
Wednesday's highlights
Quarterback Jon Kitna completed a 20-yard pass over the middle to wide receiver Peter Warrick against the first-team defense.
Cornerback Tory James knocked down another pass.
