Inside training camp

Today's schedule

Practice, 8:45-11 a.m.

Practice, 3-4 p.m.

Directions

From Downtown: Take I-75 South about 70 miles to Exit 126 (Georgetown, Ky.). Turn right off ramp onto U.S. 460 West. Stay on 460 for about 2 miles. Turn right at light onto Lemons Mill Road (1962 West). Turn right into driveway flanked with Georgetown College/Bengals signs.

Coming up

Camp will be open for three more days this week, through the final training camp practice Thursday morning.

Injury report

•  The Bengals dressed 72 players for Monday afternoon's practice. Only linebacker Tito Rodriguez, who had knee surgery, did not dress.

•  Wide receiver Ron Dugans (Achilles tendinitis) practiced with the team Monday for the first time since Aug. 5.

•  Center Mike Goff twisted his left ankle and had to be re-taped.

Palmer watch

Rookie quarterback Carson Palmer, still battling plantar fascitis, practiced Monday afternoon. Despite the partially torn tendon in his right foot, Palmer appears to be moving better.

Monday's highlights

Rookie cornerback Dennis Weathersby had an interception that would have been run back for a touchdown.

More plays are being installed, and receivers and quarterbacks had some trouble on routes, and receivers lined up incorrectly a few times.

Preseason schedule

Aug. 10 - at Jets 28, Bengals 13

Aug. 16 - Bengals 23, Detroit 10

Saturday - TENNESSEE, 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 29 - At Indianapolis, 8 p.m.
