Bengals assistant hired by Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired former Bengals safeties coach Darren Perry for a similar position on their staff.
Perry, who coached for the Bengals for one season, is a former Steelers player. He will be the assistant defensive backs coach to position coach Willy Robinson.
Perry is the 14th assistant on the Steelers staff, the most since Bill Cowher was hired in 1992.
Meanwhile, the Bengals confirmed that former strength and conditioning coach Rodney Holman was not retained by the team.
It is expected that former Bengals tight ends coach John Garrett will be hired by the Bengals as a scout.
