STARS - Quarterbacks
- Daunte Culpepper, Vikings, was 26-for-36 for 312 yards, threw for two TDs, ran for two, rushed for 73 yards and a had a 2-point conversion run with 5 seconds left to lift Minnesota past New Orleans 32-31.
- Marvin Harrison, Colts, who caught at least 100 passes in each of the past four seasons, broke Herman Moore's 1995 mark of 123 catches. By making nine receptions in a 28-23 win at Cleveland, Harrison reached 127 with two games remaining.
- Matt Hasselbeck, Seahawks, hit 22 of 31 passes for 298 yards and one TD in a 30-24 OT victory at Atlanta.
- Brian Griese led the Broncos to a 31-24 win over Kansas City by going 18-for-26 for 297 yards and a touchdown.
Running backs
- Travis Henry, Bills, rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns, including the 26-yard game-winner with 52 seconds remaining, in a 20-13 victory over San Diego.
- LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers, scored on a 2-yard plunge and finished with 110 yards rushing, the sixth time he's broken 100 yards in 2002.
- Shaun Alexander, Seahawks, ran 27 yards for an OT touchdown, also had a 3-yard score and gained 127 yards in a 30-24 victory at Atlanta.
- Clinton Portis, Broncos, ran for three touchdowns and 131 yards, his third straight 100-yard game. He also scored on a spectacular 66-yard touchdown catch in a 31-24 victory over Kansas City.
Receivers
- Chris Chambers, Dolphins, caught seven passes for a career-high 138 yards, and Cris Carter made his first touchdown reception since coming out of retirement.
- Koren Robinson, Seahawks, made nine catches for 143 yards in a 30-24 overtime win at Atlanta.
- Dante Hall, Chiefs, caught five passes for 143 yards and two TDs in a 31-24 loss at Denver.
- Randy Moss, Vikings, caught 11 passes for 113 yards and two TDs, including a score with 5 seconds left to bring Minnesota within a 2-point conversion of victory at New Orleans. Daunte Culpepper converted for a 32-31 win.
Special Teams
- Michael Lewis, Saints, had his second kickoff runback for a TD this season, a 97-yarder in a 32-31 defeat to Minnesota.
- Allen Rossum, Falcons, returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown in a 30-24 loss to Seattle. It's the third time Rossum has returned a kick for a TD, and his first since Nov. 19, 2000.
- Avion Black, Texans, returned a punt 76 yards for a touchdown in a 23-19 loss to Baltimore, the first such score for the franchise.
Defense
- Miami limited Oakland's league-leading offense to 218 yards, just 162 passing, and had five sacks, three by league-leader Jason Taylor, in a 23-17 win.
- CB Ken Lucas, Seahawks, intercepted two of Michael Vick's passes, returning one 27 yards to set up a score in a 30-24 overtime win at Atlanta.
- LB Carlos Emmons, Eagles, had a 44-yard return of Patrick Ramsey's fumble for a score in a 34-21 win against Washington. It was his first TD in seven pro seasons.
- DE Kenny Holmes scored on a 50-yard fumble return as the Giants held Dallas scoreless for 58 minutes in a 37-7 win.
WORKING OVERTIME
Seattle's 30-24 victory at Atlanta was the 22nd overtime game of the season, breaking the NFL record set in 1995, and no team has contributed more than the Falcons - 1-2-1 in four OT games. There has been at least one overtime game in 12 of the 15 weeks this year.
PLAYOFF SPOTS
Philadelphia (11-3) clinched the NFC East title with a 34-21 win over Washington and has the tiebreaker for conference home-field advantage in the playoffs. Tampa Bay (11-3) secured at least a wild-card spot when it won at Detroit 23-20.
MILESTONES
WR Marvin Harrison, Colts, set the NFL single-season record for receptions with 127. He had nine catches in a 28-23 win at Cleveland. Detroit's Herman Moore set the mark of 123 in 1995. Harrison passed that with a 5-yard catch on fourth-and-1 in the third quarter. He also gained 172 yards Sunday, giving Harrison 1,500 yards for the second straight season, the first player with consecutive 1,500-yard seasons. In his last four seasons, Harrison has 453 catches for 6,166 yards.
Brian Mitchell, Eagles, moved past Walter Payton and into second place on the career list for combined yardage with 21,902. Mitchell went past Payton's mark of 21,803 with a 5-yard punt return in the second quarter of a 34-21 victory over Washington, his former team. Jerry Rice is the career leader with 22,202.
SLOPPY
San Diego was whistled for four pass interference penalties totaling 86 yards in losing 20-13 at Buffalo. ... The Panthers had four turnovers in losing 30-14 at Pittsburgh. Carolina has two or more turnovers in seven consecutive games.
STREAKS
Oakland's five-game winning string ended in a 23-17 defeat at Miami. The Raiders have lost five in a row against the Dolphins. ... Tampa Bay caused a turnover for an NFL-best 39th straight game. ... Minnesota's 32-31 win in New Orleans ended a 16-game road slide. ... Philadelphia has won four straight without Donovan McNabb. ... The 49ers scored in their 400th straight game, extending their own NFL record.
STATS
Jay Fiedler directed a 97-yard touchdown drive, the Dolphins' longest since 1989. Travis Minor capped it with a 4-yard run. ... Hines Ward made three catches to become the first Steelers receiver with 100 receptions in a season. ... Tampa Bay (11-3) clinched a playoff berth for the fourth straight season and tied franchise records for wins and road victories (five) in beating Detroit 23-20. ... David Carr, Texans, was sacked twice by Baltimore, leaving him two sacks short of the NFL record of 72 set by Randall Cunningham in 1986. ... The smallest crowd at Paul Brown Stadium - 42,092 tickets were sold but the actual attendance was around 30,000 - saw Cincinnati fall to 1-13 by losing 29-15 to Jacksonville. ... Brett Favre has led the Packers to nine wins in the 10 games he's faced them.
SWINGS
With 4 minutes left in the first quarter, the Texans surpassed last week's total offense of 47 yards. But, unlike last week's win over Pittsburgh, they lost to Baltimore 23-19. ... Minnesota, which led the league with 36 giveaways, had none at New Orleans. ... When Jesse Palmer replaced Kerry Collins in the fourth quarter of the Giants' 37-7 rout of Dallas, it was the first time in two years a backup QB had taken a snap for the team.
INJURIES
Priest Holmes, Chiefs, had 161 yards on 18 carries, his fifth straight 100-yard game, but limped off to the locker room with a right hip strain early in the fourth quarter. ... Detroit rookie quarterback Joey Harrington was taken to a hospital for tests and observation with an irregular heartbeat. Team doctor Kyle Anderson said Harrington's heartbeat returned to a normal rhythm before he was hospitalized, but he was to stay overnight at Henry Ford Hospital as a precaution. ... Bucs DT Anthony McFarland may miss the rest of the season with a broken right foot. ... Dolphins G Jamie Nails hurt his left Achilles' tendon and will miss the rest of the season.
SPEAKING

We've got coaches counting, we've got players counting, and we still can't count to 11." - Cincinnati coach Dick LeBeau, after the Bengals were penalized for 12 men on the field during a punt return, giving Jacksonville a second chance and leading the Jaguars to a 29-15 victory.
