Browns-Bengals sold out,
on local TV
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Bengals-Browns game Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium officially sold out, meaning it will be shown on local television.
WKRC-TV (Channel 12) will air the game beginning at 1p.m.
It is just the second of five Bengals home games this season to sell out in time to lift the NFL's 72-hour blackout rule.
The other sellout this season was the Oct.13 game against Pittsburgh. Thousands of Steelers fans attended the game, and thousands of Browns fans are expected to be in the stadium Sunday.
The sellout is just the eighth in 21 games since the Bengals moved into the stadium at the start of the 2000 season. Six of the eight sellouts have come against Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
The Bengals also had walk-up sellouts during the 2001 season against Chicago and Tennessee.
