HOUSTON - Worried about the health of their cornerbacks, the Bengals on Saturday signed cornerback Reggie Myles from their practice squad to the 53-man roster. Myles signed a two-year contract.
Whether cornerback Jeff Burris (hamstring) can play will be a game-time decision. And free safety Cory Hall, who has been slowed by an ankle injury, also is iffy for today's game with the Texans.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Myles, who played college ball at Alabama, joined the Bengals as a rookie free agent afterthe 2002 draft. He played in all four Cincinnati preseason games, was waived Sept. 1, and was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 2.
Myles fills the roster spot opened Friday when linebacker Armegis Spearman was placed on the Injured Reserve list, ending his season.
The Bengals will play today with five linebackers.
