Fan balloting for Pro Bowl begins Tuesday
By The Associated Press
NEW YORK - Fan voting for the Pro Bowl will begin Tuesday on the Internet and at retail stores.
Balloting for the game, to be played in Hawaii on Feb. 2, will conclude Dec. 13.
The AFC and NFC squads will be made up on the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Dec. 16-17.
The NFL is the only league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its all-star teams.
The Pro Bowl starters will be announced at halftime of the AFC and NFC Wild Card games on Jan. 4.
