LeBeau: I'm going to work my tail off
By Mark Curnutte
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Bengals didn't make changes to their coaching staff Monday, one day after falling to 0-6.
Bengals coach Dick LeBeau and team president Mike Brown had their regular Monday morning meeting.
"We always discuss the game a little bit," LeBeau said, "but we didn't get into actual changes. That's my jurisdiction."
Brown declined all interview requests Monday.
LeBeau, during his regular Monday news conference, was asked if he and Brown discussed the coaching staff.
"We don't talk about that," said LeBeau, who also was asked whether he would resign or if he thinks he has received his players' best effort.
His eyes were red and watery, his emotions almost getting the best of him when he spoke.
"I have always been proud to be a Cincinnati Bengal," he said. "I sought this job, and I think it has been a very good thing in the life of Dick LeBeau that I got this job. I am going to work my tail off to get this job done. That was the circumstance when I got the job, and that's where it is right now."
