Receiver Farmer on verge of return
Almost recovered from knee injury; Bengals notebook

The Cincinnati Enquirer
Bengals receivers Peter Warrick and T.J. Houshmandzadeh will start Sunday at Indianapolis. Danny Farmer might play, too.
He's very, very close, Bengals coach Dick LeBeau said Friday of Farmer, who has missed three games because of a knee injury.
LeBeau has been unable to get a regular rotation established at wide receiver.
We haven't figured out a set anything, he said. We've got to get our offense going. We've got to get our defense going. When we get there, that will be our set rotation.
You're going to get T.J. You're going to get Peter. You're going to get Chad (Johnson). Ronny (Dugans) is going to come in there some; Danny, when he gets back there; Michael (Westbrook) that's where we are.
The Bengals (0-4) average four points a game on offense. Their passing game is ranked 30th in the league with an average of 146.8 yards a game.
HERO: Colts coach Tony Dungy was born in Jackson, Mich., and grew up as a Lions fan. One of his favorite Detroit players was LeBeau, who played cornerback for the Lions for 14 seasons (1959-72).
LeBeau is 65. Dungy is 46 and in his seventh year as an NFL head coach.
I remember when Dick was playing, Dungy said. I don't know if I should say this or not, but I grew up watching Dick and Lem Barney and the rest of the Lions. It was a lot of fun watching those guys.
Dungy is 2-0 in his career against the Bengals, both as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' coach.
