Back to the bench: Stewart can't figure out what went wrong
Raiders' Janikowski charged with DUI
The Associated Press
OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski was charged with driving under the influence, adding another chapter to his history of legal problems.
Janikowski was stopped for speeding in Oakland early Wednesday and failed a sobriety test, with a blood-alcohol level 0.20, more than twice the legal limit, police said.
I'm not allowed to talk about it, and my focus is on the Buffalo Bills, Janikowski, 24, said before the Raiders left for Buffalo.
If convicted, he could face up to six months in jail, Alameda County deputy district attorney Ann Kenfield said. He is scheduled to be arraigned Nov.4.
Raiders coach Bill Callahan said Janikowski will play Sunday.
Sebastian has assured me that he's going to take every necessary step to deal with this issue, Callahan said. Aside from that, the legal system and the National Football League will additionally deal with this matter on a personal level.
DOLPHINS: Left tackle Marcus Spriggs will replace Mark Dixon, who has a sprained ankle, Sunday against New England.
JETS: Receiver Wayne Chrebet will miss Sunday's game against Kansas City because of a bruised right knee.
RAMS: A turf-toe injury could put St. Louis Rams cornerback Aeneas Williams' streak of 127 consecutive starts in jeopardy. The All-Pro, who has played in 180 straight games overall, has been dealing with the injury since late in training camp and sat out practice this week.
