Bengals are road kill

10-40 away from home since '95

The Bengals will try to break their 37-game losing streak on the road against winning teams, Sunday at Indianapolis.

The Bengals' last victory over a team with a winning record came Dec. 2, 1990, when they topped the 6-5 Steelers at Pittsburgh, 16-12.

        The Colts are 2-1.

Against teams with winning records on the road last season, the Bengals were 0-4 and were outscored 77-28.

The Bengals have trouble with all teams away from home, not just winning ones.

Since their last playoff appearance following the 1990 season, the Bengals are 17-73 in road games.

Since breaking even at 4-4 on the road in 1995, the Bengals are 10-40 away from home.
