GEORGETOWN, Ky. - First-round draft pick Levi Jones might start at left tackle Saturday against the New Orleans Saints. In fact, Jones is challenging Richmond Webb for the opening-day job.

“Levi has put himself in a position where he's very close to being able to start,” Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski said. “That's another decision we'll have to make: What gives us the best chance to start?”

Bengals coaches want to see Jones play next to starting left guard Matt O'Dwyer because offensive-line performance is greatly dependent on communication and coordination with adjacent players.
