Bengals may be out of Adams derby

Sam Adam's agent told the Bengals that the free agent defensive tackle will not sign with them or anyone for at least another week.
He wasn't pleased with any of the offers he has received. Bengals director of football operations Jim Lippincott said after talking to Adams's agent, Eugene Parker. "I was surprised. I thought he said he wanted to be in a camp with someone."
Worse for the Bengals are reports that Adams has told close friends that he won't play in Cincinnati, even though the team's three-year, $9 million offer appears to be the most lucrative he will see at this time.
Parker countered reports that the Bengals had the inside track.
There never was a favorite, Parker said.
Seattle and Denver have made one-year offers, and Adams' former team, Baltimore, has emerged as another possible destination.
