Rams release Summit, Miami product Cohen

The Cincinnati Enquirer

The St. Louis Rams have released Summit Country Day graduate Dustin Cohen.

Cohen, a linebacker from Miami University and the Mid-American Defensive Player of the Year in 1999, appeared in four games last season for the Rams, collecting four special teams tackles.

Cohen also played in the Rams' NFC Championship game against Philadelphia.

Cohen did not dress for the Super Bowl game against the New England Patriots. He would have been the first Miami player to appear in the Super Bowl.
