Saints, Falcons, Texans new foes on 2002 schedule

By Mark Curnutte
The Cincinnati Enquirer

The NFL on Tuesday announced each team's schedule for the 2002 season.

The Bengals will play home games against AFC North division rivals Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh; other home games are Jacksonville, Tennessee, San Diego, New Orleans and Tampa Bay.

Road games are at Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Houston, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Atlanta and Carolina.

Dates and kickoff times for the schedule will be announced later this year.

The Bengals already have announced their preseason schedule. They will play four teams they play during the regular season. Dates will be announced later.

The Bengals will play at Buffalo in the preseason opener (between Aug.8-12); at Indianapolis (Aug.15-19); at home against New Orleans (Aug.22-26), and at home against Atlanta (Aug.29-31).

        ROSTER MOVES:

The Bengals Tuesday signed wide receiver Khori Ivy of West Virginia and guard Ray Redziniak of Illinois to the offseason roster. Each player signed a three-year contract.

Redziniak was on the Cincinnati practice squad for the last seven games of the 2001 season. Ivy was on the practice squad for the last three games.
