Bengals-Browns: Offensive comparison

By Cincinnati Enquirer

Bob Bratkowski and Bruce Arians were two candidates Bengals coach Dick LeBeau interviewed for the team's offensive coordinator vacancy in the offseason.

LeBeau hired Bratkowski, who had been wide receivers coach in Pittsburgh for two seasons but had worked as coordinator in Seattle for four seasons.

Cleveland coach Butch Davis hired Arians as offensive coordinator. Arians had been the quarterback coach for the Colts.

They took over two of the NFL's least productive offenses. The Browns were the league's worst in 2000 (31 teams), and the Bengals were ranked 29th.
