        1991 -- Last season the Bears had a start better than this season's 3-1. They were 4-0 en route to 11-5.

        1990 -- Last season the Bengals had a start better than this season's 3-2. They were 4-1 en route to 9-7.

        7, 1 -- Fumbles recovered and lost by the Bears.

        5 -- Consecutive games Bengals have won at home, third-best streak in AFC.

        12-4 -- Bengals' home record against last 16 NFC opponents since 1993.

        7-11 -- Dick LeBeau's record as Bengals coach.

        13-23 -- Dick Jauron's record as Bears coach. LeBeau was Jauron's position coach in Cincinnati, and the two are close friends.

        14 -- Bengals' red-zone possessions (inside opponents' 20-yard line). They have eight touchdowns and five field goals.

        7 -- Bears' red-zone possessions, resulting in two touchdowns and two field goals.

        43 -- Team-leading tackles by linebacker Takeo Spikes, despite missing one game.

        20 -- Team-record 100-yard rushing games for Corey Dillon. Bengals are 12-8 in those games.

        10.8 -- Points Bears are allowing per game, second-best in NFL.

        90, 69 -- Yards Bears defenders Brian Urlacher and R.W. McQuarters returned recovered fumbles for touchdowns over the past two games.

        3 -- Bengals (wide receiver Darnay Scott, safety Darryl Williams and tight end Tony McGee) who played against Bears in last meeting in 1995. Bengals won 16-10 and hold a 4-2 series advantage.
