NFL steps up security
The NFL will increase security at all stadiums this weekend in the wake of U.S.-led military attacks in Afghanistan and renewed threats of terrorist attacks.
Many of the measures carry over from the Bengals' last home game Sept. 23, but new plans will be in effect, though not publicized.
Fans coming to the sold-out Bengals-Browns game need to remember carry-in items are restricted. Coolers, backpacks, fanny packs and large purses will not be permitted. Other carry-in items will be subject to visual search. Persons bringing prohibited items to the stadium gates will have to take those items back to their cars.
