Bengals' Barndt charged with DUI
Bengals defensive tackle Tom Barndt has been charged with DUI, stemming from an automobile accident Sunday night in Covington. He will have a court hearing within the next two weeks in Kenton District Court.
Police say a vehicle turned into the path of Barndt as he drove north on Philadelphia Street. Police are investigating whether the other car was stolen. Two people fled from the second vehicle, police say.
Barndt is expected to participate in the NFL's substance abuse program, said his lawyer, Philip Taliaferro.
