Bengals rookie wide receiver Chad Johnson will endow a scholarship with $250,000 at Oregon State University.

        “I want the school to be able to help others as they helped me,” he said in a statement released by Oregon State. “I hope this gift acts as both a challenge and example to other OSU student-athletes to give something back to the institution that helped make your success possible.”

        Johnson, the Bengals' second-round pick in the April draft, signed a four-year contract in July.
