Bengals release Carlton Gray
GEORGETOWN, Ky. Veteran cornerback and Cincinnati native Carlton Gray was cut Sunday.
The former Forest Park High School star was third on the depth chart at right cornerback behind Artrell Hawkins and Mark Roman.
Gray, 29, signed a two-year contract with the Bengals on June 7 after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in just four games with Kansas City last season.
Gray was drafted by Seattle in 1993. He also has played with Indianapolis and the New York Giants. He has 12 interceptions in 102 NFL games.
