Bengals pick up Jets WR
The Bengals acquired wide receiver Malcolm Johnson on waivers from the New York Jets on Monday.
Johnson, 23, played in four games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season before being waived Nov. 20. He was claimed by the Jets the next day and played in one game for New York.
The Steelers took Johnson, from Notre Dame, in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL draft. He played in six games as a rookie, with two catches for 23 yards, but did not have a catch last season.
