Bengals waive former No. 2 pick
The Bengals on Saturday waived cornerback Charles Fisher, a third-year player from West Virginia.
Fisher was Cincinnati's second-round draft choice in 1999, but had not played since suffering a severe knee injury in the 1999 season opener at Carolina.
The Bengals also waived fullback Kalani Sitake of Brigham Young. He was an undrafted rookie free agent who signed last week, but he failed to pass the minicamp physical.
Robert Bean and Rodney Heath are listed as the starting cornerbacks on the depth chart. The other three veteran corners at minicamp are Artrell Hawkins, Mark Roman and Tom Carter.
