LeBeau seeks 3 more interviews
Ex-Browns coach Palmer to visit Cincinnati Friday

The Cincinnati Enquirer
Bengals coach Dick LeBeau has reached the halfway point in his search for an offensive coordinator.
He has completed the third of what he hopes are six interviews, LeBeau said Tuesday from Mobile, Ala., where he was scouting college players who will play in the Senior Bowl. I'd like to wind this all up by the weekend.
LeBeau interviewed former Steelers offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride on Tuesday.
LeBeau has two more interviews scheduled this week. Today he will talk with Detroit Lions wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan. On Friday in Cincinnati, LeBeau said he will have a formal interview with Chris Palmer, fired last week as Cleveland Browns coach. Palmer is a former offensive coordinator of Jacksonville.
LeBeau also would like to meet with Jimmy Raye, fired as offensive coordinator last week in Kansas City along with Chiefs head coach Gunther Cunningham. Raye is a candidate for offensive coordinator in Washington, where former Bengals coach Bruce Coslet has interviewed with new Redskins coach Marty Schottenheimer.
In his search for Ken Anderson's replacement, LeBeau has interviewed Colts quarterbacks coach Bruce Arians and Steelers wide receivers coach Bob Bratkowski.
The interview with Brat kowski, offensive coordinator in Seattle for four seasons, went very well, LeBeau said. He was very well organized. He was prepared. He had his ideas.
LeBeau coached with Bratkowski's father, Zeke, in Green Bay.
There's a common thread among LeBeau's candidates.
We're looking for a knowledgeable offensive coordinator, particularly throwing the ball, LeBeau said.
