Bengals close to sellout
By
The Bengals have until 1 p.m. today to sell out Sunday's game with Tennessee to avoid a local television blackout.
The club had not counted the latest ticket orders at the end of business Wednesday but had only $40 sideline seats in the upper seating bowl still available.
It's safe to report the team will have its third consecutive home crowd of more than 60,000.
INJURY REPORT: Defensive end Vaughn Booker (fainting spell), center Rich Braham (knee) and linebacker Brian Simmons (knee) are out for the Tennessee game. Right tackle Willie Anderson (knee) is questionable. Linebacker Armegis Spearman (shoulder) and fullback Clif Groce (knee) are probable.
For Tennessee, defensive end Byron Frisch (ankle) is out. Linebacker Greg Favors (ankle), tackle Brad Hopkins (ankle), defensive end Jevon Kearse (quadricep), wide receiver Carl Pickens (hamstring), Yancey Thigpen (hamstring) and tight end Frank Wycheck (foot) are questionable.
