BENGALS NOTEBOOK
Braham's absence may be extended
By Mark Curnutte
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Starting center Rich Braham will miss the Baltimore game and possibly several more after he was examined by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala.
Braham had the bursa sac removed from his knee early in training camp, and after missing the entire preseason schedule, started and played both of the team's first two games.
Dr. Andrews wants Braham to rest the knee for several weeks before playing again. If the knee doesn't improve, Braham could face season-ending surgery.
Brock Gutierrez will get the start in Baltimore.
BOOKER UPDATE: Veteran defensive end Vaughn Booker is not expected to play Sunday because doctors have not been able to determine why he lost consciousness on the field at the end of the Jacksonville game.
Booker continues to undergo tests.
Jevon Langford, who has been on the inactive list, will take Booker's place on the roster.
