Bengals cut CB Howard

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Cornerback Ty Howard, who started three games for the Cincinnati Bengals last season, was waived Monday.

The fourth-year player from Ohio State appeared in 12 games last season, when the Bengals were short on cornerbacks after they released Corey Sawyer at the end of the preseason. They elevated rookie Charles Fisher to starter and claimed Howard off waivers from Arizona.
