Bengals add former Colts scout to staff
The Bengals added to the smallest front-office staff when they hired Duke Tobin as a scout.
Tobin, 28, son of long-time NFL executive Bill Tobin, spent last season as the Colts' scout for the scouting service BLESTO. He'll be called on to visit 50 colleges during the next season, making an even split of 150 schools between Tobin and the club's two other full-time scouts, Jim Lippincott and Paul Brown.
Bengals President Mike Brown didn't rule out making more hires to the football operation: It's a step to broaden our base some.
